A box calf cherry red leather wallet by Hermès. This is the finest example of a wallet that money can buy. The make is what one comes to expect from the best leather makers in the world. This style of wallet is no longer in the line from Hermès. This type of wallet is an evening style, or "Tuxedo" wallet. It is worn when not much is needed, just some cash, a few cards and ID. This is the wallet for the Oscars or the ballet. The layout is beautifully undertaken where single pieces of leather divide the wallet into different sections. There are 6 small sections in the front to hold cards, then there is a long split along the right hand side for cash, receipts, cards, or any other personal items. The wallet has never been used, is in perfect condition, and comes with the distinctive Hermès orange card box tissue paper. The wallet is embossed with silver foil in center of the cash section. Made in France. Date letter 'S' with no shape putting it to being made in 1963.
